My Story

I’m Shruti, an AEM architect shaped by global experience and long-term thinking.

I grew up in India, built my technical foundation in the United States, and now live and work in the Netherlands.

Moving across cultures and systems—personally and professionally—I’ve seen first-hand how proximity, and communication shape technical outcomes.

Today, being based in Europe allows me to work closely with teams on the ground, bridging strategy and execution with clarity and calm.

I believe the best platforms—and the best collaborations—are built with care, patience, and trust.

My Journey with Technology

My journey with Adobe Experience Manager began in 2011, back when it was still Day CQ 5.4. Since then, I’ve worked through every major phase of the platform’s evolution—from early on-premise implementations to today’s cloud-native architectures and Edge Delivery Services.

Experiencing this evolution firsthand has given me a practical understanding of what scales, what ages well, and what quietly turns into technical debt over time.

At the core

At my core, I’m a Java developer. That foundation continues to shape how I design systems: structure before shortcuts, clarity over cleverness, and a deep respect for what lives beneath the surface.

Over the years, I’ve broadened my architectural lens by working with other platforms and technologies, including Magnolia CMS, Azure, commercetools, and Algolia—always with the goal of building more resilient, well-rounded solutions

People & Perspective

What matters most to me today is not just designing solutions, but designing relationships. I place strong value on trust, communication, and steadiness—especially during complex migrations and high-pressure moments.

Outside of work, astrophotography plays an important role in my life. Capturing deep-sky objects is both technical and deeply contemplative—a form of therapy that reminds me to slow down, zoom out, and stay connected to perspective.
